The Department of Performing Arts at the University of Mount Union featured its Clarinet Ensemble at the Fall Woodwind Concert on November 29 in the Giese Center for the Performing Arts. They also performed in Campus Grounds of the Hoover Price Campus Center, on December 4.

The University of Mount Union Jazz Ensemble performed its fall concerts on November 20 in the Gallaher Black Box Theatre and November 27 in Campus Grounds in the Hoover Price Campus Center.

The University of Mount Union Marching Band performed during a showcase on December 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Brush Performance Hall, located in the Giese Center for the Performing Arts.

The musical styles spanned the globe and included: calypso, reggae cha-cha, soca chutney, bembe, and fusion.

The University of Mount Union Christmas Festival, entitled "Shalom" will be held in the Brush Performance Hall December 8-10.

During the first week of November, the Regula Center at Mount Union is delivering nearly 300 hand colored placemats to nursing homes and dining sites throughout Alliance.The placemats are part of take the monthly take and make service projects coordinated by the Center. For each project like this the Center provides the supplies for people to take home and create something that will then be donated.
