Four students at the University of Mount Union will be inducted into the International Honor Society, Sigma Iota Rho in spring 2019 semester.

Three students of Mount Union's athletic training program were inducted as members of Iota Tau Alpha, the Athletic Training Education Honor Society in Spring 2019.

In fall 2018, 77 students at the University of Mount Union were inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta, the national honor society for first-year success.

Senior students in the University of Mount Union's finance program are partnering with the United Way of Greater Stark County's Financial Prosperity Center and Rodman Public Library to offer a four-part series of workshops for the community each Wednesday in April at 6 p.m.

Logan McGee '20, an integrated media major of East Canton, Ohio, submitted a project that earned himself and WRMU a national finalist spot in the category of Best Station Imaging at the 2018 College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) National Student Production Awards. McGee completed the project as part of his position as WRMU promotions director. The project showcased Mount Union Alumni.

During the weekend of November 15-18, the University of Mount Union Department of Theatre will present "All My Sons" by Arthur Miller. Set after World War II, "All My Sons" features the drama and tragedy of a family overturned by the war, as well as an impeding financial crisis. After a desperate climb to wealth, the family is sent down a tumbling hill full of lies, greed, and loss.

University of Mount Union physics major Joseph Winiecki '18, of Stow, Ohio, was selected to participate in the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship program, developed by the United States Department of Energy.

The University of Mount Union's Department of Theatre featured the drama "Voir Dire" from Thursday, October 4 - Sunday, October 7.
